Dr Aida is a Consultant Thoracic Radiologist at Gleneagles Hospital Johor. She graduated from the University of College Dublin in 2001 and completed her master’s in medicine (Radiology) at University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2010. She has a Thoracic Radiology Fellowship and does an observership at Royal Brompton Hospital in London. Dr Aida has made significant contributions to the medical community through her presentations at various international conferences, including India, Vietnam, Vienna, Austria, Singapore and Korea. Additionally, she is a member of Speciality Education Subcomittee (SSC) Edu Clinical Radiology of Malaysian Medical Council, has published several scientific articles and journal reviewer. Her commitment to advancing the field of thoracic radiology, being president of Malaysian Thoracic Radiology special interest group (MThoR) and council member in Malaysian College Radiology; she has organized various symposiums (Thoracic Symposiums), encouraging holistic management by bringing together various disciplines from multiple sectors, government, private and higher education in multidisciplinary meetings. Dr Aida's reputation as a knowledgeable speaker has led to invitations to speak at both national and international conferences.
