Anushya Vijayananthan is a Professor and Consultant Radiologist recently retired from the Department of Biomedical Imaging, Universiti Malaya. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delhi in 1992 and then went on to complete her Master of Radiology (MRad) at the University of Malaya in 2001. She subsequently did her training stints overseas in Vascular Ultrasound at the Thane Ultrasound Center, Mumbai in 2004 followed by a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Gartnavel General Hospital, Glasgow, UK in 2006 and fellowship in breast imaging from UMMC. Her special interests include women's imaging, vascular ultrasound and interventional radiology. She is involved in medical education both undergraduate and post graduate and is currently still the OSCE Coordinator for the Faculty of Medicine at Universiti Malaya. She has recently been appointed the Dean of the Graduate School of Medicine at KPJ Healthcare University.
