ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR DR. NOOR KHAIRIAH A KARIM received her MBBS from the University of Malaya in 2003 and completed her Master of Radiology (MRad) at the same institution in 2014. In 2017, she obtained a Fellowship in Cardiac Imaging from the National Heart Centre Singapore.

She has earned international recognition in cardiac imaging, including Level III certification from both the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) and the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR), and is currently a fellow of SCMR. She also serves internationally as an Executive Committee Member of the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (ASCI).

Currently, she is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biomedical Imaging, Pusat Kanser Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Universiti Sains Malaysia. In addition, she serves as the Deputy Director of Clinical Services and Sustainability, as well as Consultant Radiologist at the same institution.

Her research interests focus on medical image processing, image analysis and computer-aided detection, with particular emphasis on cardiac and breast imaging. She is an active speaker and presenter in her field, delivering lectures at both national and international conferences and training courses. In addition, she has authored numerous journal articles, conference proceedings and case reports, and serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for several leading scientific journals.
