Dr. Norlisah is a Consultant Radiologist and Neuroradiology for the Subang Jaya Medical centre and Visiting Professor for the Faculty of Medicine, UM. She graduated with an MBBS from the University of Malaya and obtained her FRCR in London. She has received her radiology training at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, and has her neurointerventional training at Bicetre Hospital in Paris. Her main research contribution has been in the field of neuroimaging. She is one of the Merdeka Awards recipients in 2008. Professor Dr Norlisah has published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and oversees over 100 scientific papers. She has also organised and directed several workshops on neuroradiology imaging and serves as an expert team member for the IAEA. She currently serves as Executive Councillor of the Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology as Chair of Quality, Safety and Standards. She is the immediate Past President of the College of Radiology, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (COR), and the Malaysian Society of Radiologists (MyRad).
